Muggymoose Massage Brand Project

Margaret Harstad is a Thai Bodywork practitioner, a yoga teacher, and massage therapist. We created a brand which reflects the upbeat, multi-faceted, and very qualified identity of the woman behind the brand.

YEARS ago (was it 2011?), Margaret Harstad approached me to help with branding. She had owned a successful massage business for years already, but with materials that weren't reflective of her success including a website that wasn't representative of her professionalism, and a logo she had created for a previous company she owned. She took a chance on me, as one of my first clients.

After defining the visual and verbal identity, including creating a logo, we captured multiple photo sessions, beautiful print materials, and a fresh website which shows the color, energy, and vibrance of what Muggymoose offers.

Healthy Brands Grow:

Muggymoose continues to grow and flourish. Margaret invited another bodyworker to see clients at Muggymoose and they expanded their space into a gorgeous wellness studio.

Healthy brands continue to grow, and while a solid visual/verbal foundation stays constant, some branding elements shift to reflect the changes in what a business offers, who their audience is, and provides a fresh feel for who the business is.

So five years after our initial branding was the right time for her business to do a refresh. We revised the logo slightly and did a photoshoot to show their audience and prospective clients the current Muggymoose and how far it's come.
