Robin Stamp is a spiritual guide and yogic astrologer with a huge heart and a powerful intuition. He aspires to live his highest potential, and to help others awaken to theirs. What an honor to help this brand take visual shape and gain some verbal refinement in it’s presentation.
I wanted to give web visitors the experience of meeting with Robin. So I followed Robin to a teaching engagement, and we took a little trip to the shore to take some photos there as well. The images from the workshop provide a different flavor than those near the water, and I’m grateful we have both.
We were able to use some existing headshots he had from his previous website. This helped speed the process along so we could launch with quick turnaround, thereby he was able to share his new website for a promotional opportunity he didn’t want to miss.
By creating a highly unique and symbolism-rich identity and a website with a collection of images showing who Robin is in his practice, we were able to reveal the personality of Universe Embodied and what Robin Stamp does. Which helps draw his site visitors to become clients/students!

House of the Gathering Yoga School
House of the Gathering Yoga School holds space for both yoga and depth psychology with workshops, retreats, and the teacher training program that emphasizes meditation practice and sustainability.
In designing the site, Hilary Buckwalter Kesti and I discussed what was essential to communicate about the new school. What makes it unique? What do we need people to know? How do we want to SHOW them?
I had the chance to photograph a class in process, and walk the grounds to capture the BEAUTY and essence of this space. This gives viewers the opportunity to experience a place before actually being there.

The Muggymoose website is part of a larger branding process that Margaret Harstad hired me for back in 2012. We planned out the visual and verbal brand with print materials and paid ads; creating the website was part of executing that brand vision.
We shot two different photography sessions — one on the shore of Lake Superior with dramatic skies in the background doing partner yoga and Thai Bodywork postures, and the other in her cozy, bright studio space with private session clients.
In late 2017, we did another photoshoot to give a fresh update to the website, print materials -- and to express some of the newer aspects of her brand: another massage therapist in the space, and the addition of the Muggymoose SKY Studio.
Margaret’s business is multi faceted, so her brand personality reflects that. Take a look at the website we created, and how we decided to communicate the different aspects of her brand — from massage therapy, to Thai Bodywork practitioner, to wellness studio, to essential oils, and more…
Adam Swanson Art
Adam Swanson’s previous website was robust in size, a full catalog of every painting he had EVER made (over 1,000). Yet it didn’t showcase the paintings in a way that was stimulating, it just didn’t do justice to his artwork.
What a fun challenge. With his new website, we are still showing visitors the breadth and variety of paintings, but now, its in a format that is easy to use and completely searchable for content and tags, is mobile/tablet responsive, and most importantly showcases the texture, detail, and personality of Adam Swanson’s artwork.
We wanted to show the quantity of pieces and show them together so that visitors could see the variety and scope of his work. So I designed "galleries" on the site, with a homepage that introduces the work and artist.

Wisdom Ways Counseling
Wisdom Ways Counseling is a website for my MOM (!) who is a very experienced, qualified, and skilled therapist, stepping into a new role as Supervisor to new therapists — Clinical Supervision.
It was fun to build something for my Mom, and she was a delight! We used photography she had taken on her world travels — things that spoke to her of Journey and Path. I also talked her into letting me take some headshots of her when she visited our homestead this summer. I’m glad she let me, because we get to see her face, a window into who she is.
Psychology is a field which has a LOT of rules and regulations placed on therapists about what they can say about the work they do, how they advertise, etc. This was an important part of designing this website — to speak to Deborah’s experience and abilities, while honoring the regulations that have been put into place to safe guard clients.
I’m happy to help show the world Deborah O’Davis — skilled therapist, wonderful Mother, and clinical supervisor. Please visit her website to see what we created together: www.wisdomwayscounseling.com
Beth Bartlett Duluth
Let me tell you -- Beth Bartlett is one very special person. She is author to numerous books, a pioneering activist within the community, long time professor and mentor, and inspiration to countless individuals and organizations.
And this is her first website. It was my honor to create. It's multi-faceted, just like her. It promotes her spiritual direction practice, and shows viewers her availability as an educator, consultant, and facilitator as well.
Creating a website with Beth was collaborative, which is so fitting for her. She had a limited budget and wanted to learn how to manage the website herself. So we agreed that I would begin the design process for her and when her budget was extinguished, I would teach her how to finish it and hand her the reins. Another way we trimmed the expense of the project was by using photography (really good photography!) that she captured herself.
Serendipitously, I was able to complete the website within her budget, without her needing to finish it herself. This felt good; I got to hand her a finished product. Of course, we still sat down together so that I could teach her to manage the site herself. An interesting experience, since SHE has taught ME so much in my life.

Kristy Marie Massage and Myofascial Release
Like many of my clients, Kristy Marie and I completed a full branding project before creating a website for her business. We had a solid direction when we started designing the site. Because we had done the background work of branding, the website design went up very quickly.
Kristy Marie has so many massage techniques that she offers; she is truly skilled. The experience of receiving massage from her is transformational. I wanted to express that in the photography we did. We had three of her massage clients come in to be models for the photoshoot, so that we could get a variety of shots and show techniques. Kristy wrote her own website content, and I simply edited and arranged.
I think we captured the mood of Kristy Marie Massage Therapy very well. Check it out and see for yourself. Experience Kristy's website.
Luke Chiropractic & Wellness
Working with Patti and Dr Greg Luke is such a pleasure. You will NOT find a chiropractic office more welcoming. Years ago, the Lukes hired me to design a new website to replaced their outdated one. After that, we designed all new print materials and print ads, and finished with a logo. This is not the typical branding process, but it worked for Luke Chiropractic & Wellness! We recently integrated the new logo into the website. Visit the Luke Chiropractic website and learn more about them.
The photography on the website was from a session we did that involved four patients who agreed to pose as models, and we also did staff photos and shots of their open, welcoming office space.
Curran Tax Service
Curran Tax Service is a group of friendly, local tax preparing professionals. Theirs is the first website I designed (thanks for taking a gamble on me, Curran Team!).
The photography on the current Curran site is a mix of sources. Some we did when we first designed the site together; it captures the office environment and the staff working with clients within it. This gives site visitors a good sense of the experience of working with the team at Curran Tax.
In late 2017, having brought some new staff onto their team, we updated the site with some new group shots and headshots they did with a different photographer.
